Psychologists pay all due attention to family life. A family unit is the most important unit as far as the demographic structure of any country?s population is concerned. It is important that we retain the structure of the family unit as such. Most of the countries and cultures existing in this world promote family life and family as a unit. Family life can be easily declared as the most important part of any one?s social life. Family life is important as it helps shaping you as a person.

The experiences you have with your family determine what kind of a human being you will be when you grow up. In today?s world family life is even more important. It is not cushy to make your kids learn to be responsible in the fast pace of life which we experience today. When you are a part of the family you automatically learn to be responsible for other family members. You learn to share whatever you have with the others. You feel the affection and love which only your family can give you. In this era family life is thus even more important.

Although in different regions of the world the family ties are apparently a bit different but in fact the ties are almost alike. The way we feel for our family members is the same no matter what part of the world we belong to. All these points establish that the family life is very important and all the people belonging to a family must place in their best to make their experience with their family even better.

There is no doubt about it; there are far too many accidents on the road today. Even if you are the most careful and contentious driver on the road there is still a chance that someone will slam into your car causing you, at the very least, some property damage and maybe something far worse.

There is nothing you can do that will guarantee you a constantly safe and totally accident free driving experience, but there are several things that travelers can do to help minimize the amount of accidents that occur on the road every day.

Obey the Traffic Laws The state makes prospective drivers pass a test before they get behind the wheel for a reason, automobiles can be very dangerous if they aren’t operated properly and according to the laws of the road. Speed limits, traffic signs and all other traffic signals should be closely adhered to every single time someone gets behind the wheel, traffic laws are put in place to protect all of the travelers who are sharing space on the road. Following traffic signals isn’t an option, those drivers that treat it as such are usually the ones you see pulled over to the side of the road being handed a violation by officers or off the side of the road due to being involved in an accident after that required roadside assistance.

In the not-so-sleepy town of Sunol, there once lived probably the only dog mayor in the country of America. His name was Bosco Ramos.

Bosco, as he was lovingly called by the residents of Sunol, was the mayor since 1981, through a mock election. He had beat two candidates during that election, and through that; his popularity soared. But who was Bosco Ramos really?

This black Labrador mix and Rottweiler was the pet of the Stillman family in town. Always to be found moseying around local bars, looking for treats and rubs from people and visitors; his status slowly soon rose to that of the town mascot. His exploits of helping people go home when they were too drunk to walk straight helped with his reputation.

The 1981 elections were a no-brainer. After the locals had decided that the dog should give it a go as the mayor, the elections were held, votes were counted, and the winner was proclaimed. Bosco had won, and had now become the official mayor of Sunol, California.

Bosco was probably “the best dog mayor this town ever had”. Not that they had any other dog mayors after that. The dog was very ‘faithful to his duties, had protected the town well, and had seen it at its best and at its worst.’
