Trawler Charters

by Mary Swanson

The trawler is an awesome boat. It is known for its roominess and stability. The next best thing to owning one would be to do a trawler charter. It is a great way to sail along some of the wonderful coastlines on earth. Trawler charters are available in the Pacific Northwest and in Florida. You can also hire a trawler charter in the Mediterranean, the Caribbean or in Australia.

Trawler Charters have boats available in various lenghts. One of the most comfortable is the 43 foot trawler. It is luxurious and spacious. While sailing you can watch TV on the flatscreen in the large main salon and enjoy dinner served from the fully equipped galley. Above, there is the spacious flybridge with a bimini cover for added protection from the sun.

One of the 43 foot trawler charters is perfect for 3 couples or a family. It has three staterooms and two full heads with showers. The aft deck is great for sunbathing. There is also a large transom door that opens to a spacious swim platform.

A luxury trawler charter is unlike any other vacation and would rate at the top of your list of travels. To insure a successful trip there is a certain amount of planning involved. Travel to and from the location of the vessel would have to be coordinated. Some chartering companies will do this for you for an extra fee.

Vacation Destinations For Grown-ups

by Trip Wend

To paraphrase Bertrand Russell, making the most of leisure time is one of the most important vestiges of civilization. To help you learn how to make the most of yours, this article will be very useful. Not sure where to go for vacation? Let me give you some ideas!

London, England is a wonderful place to go on vacation to. Experiencing Trafalgar Square, a river cruise down the Thames, seeing Big Ben and the London Eye, as well as going to Buckingham Palace and attempting to break the guard icy composure are all very enjoyable.

The most popular tourist destination around is undoubtedly France, and that is because there is so much to see there. Whether itas the Eiffel Tower, the Seine River, or the Louvre Museum, you will find fantastic sights and much to enjoy.

There is also the royal palace in Versailles, which was lived in by many great historical figures including Louis XIV, Louis XVI, and Napoleon Bonaparte. The breathtaking views from Versailles alone are well worth the trip to this historic European paradise.

For a more tropical theme, try the hidden gem of Belize in Central America. There are a wide range of attractions, including exploring ancient ruins from the Mayan civilization. More traditional activities include snorkeling, scuba diving, and just hanging out on the beach.

Another tropical resort that is more frequented would be Cozumel. Cozumel is home to Chankanaab Park, where visitors can swim with the dolphins. Cozumel, aside from many beautiful beaches, also has the Punta Sur Lighthouse and many excursions for visitors to go on.

Sometimes when we go on vacation or on a trip for business, it’s almost as if we are carrying our entire lives along with us in our checked bags, so it comes as no surprise that in this day and age that travelers want their possessions that go along with them to be as safe as possible.

Travel insurance plans have become increasingly popular in the US since the tragedy that struck during 9/11, but before you decide if travel insurance is something that you need to spend your money on, it would help to know what is typically covered by these protective plans.

What’s covered?

Lost or stolen bags:

Some companies offer different grades of travel insurance, much like you can get with your homeowners or auto insurance. Depending upon the level of protection that you choose to pay for, a lost or stolen bag may garner a reimbursement of five hundred to a thousand dollars each. This is a potentially good feature if your bags are stolen, but all airlines have reimbursements for lost luggage which has just been recently raised to three thousand dollars per traveler.
